May 14 ~ Saturday

Yesterday was Friday 13th. Did fate jinx ya? LoL. The basketball game last time was put to end by a sudden blackout at the gymnasium. People went loud in the darkness. Thus, since the electricity was 'doubtful', our Barangay was adjourned as the winner with the score of 64-59. Yepey!

I am now in Cabadbaran accompanying my mother in a religious seminar. All I remember about this place was the Regional School's Press Conference way back in Grade 6. I was a newswriter that time. It was my first out-of-town competition and sadly I didn't win. On the awarding day, the announcer introduced the winner by starting off with the division I was representing - Agusan del Sur. I expected it was me since I ranked first in the provincial level. Haha. Too bad it wasn't me. That was the end of my writing career.

And oh, Flame of Recca is back on Philippine TV once more. If you're a fan, please visit my site on it. Thanks. PLUG: Flaming Arms: A Flame of Recca Shrine

May 12 ~ Thursday

Aiza's Birthday celebration last night was not as fun as Vienna's. Maybe it was because we were not as many as the last time and no hard drinks were allowed this time. Hehe.

I stayed up till 2:30AM writing my journal. Woke up this morning with a very lonely atmosphere. I was shocked to see my cellphone reading only 3 messages. Quite unusual for me since I always have more than 20 messages most of the time every morning when I wake up. Well, maybe everybody's somehow starting to get bored of the unlimited text. Another thing that freaked me out was that terrible yet great dream where I was at the sea and a Tsunami unexpectedly occured. T'was so weird and scary. Luckily I survived together with Alcin and Naldy while Naiza was nowhere to be seen after the gigantic wave brought us ashore. My heart was really thumping pretty hard after waking up and realizing that everything was just a dream. WHEW! ^_^'

I watched Wowowee where the players were celebrity-look-a-likes. It was very fun I laughed my head out especially when 'Vilma Santos' acted the Banana Split part. Nyahah! I've never laughed like that because of a TV show before. This afternoon we'll be watching a Basketball game at the gymnasium [again].

4:14pm |

May 9 ~ Monday

Last night my unlimited text finally expired. And I decided not to register again for some time since I noticed myself doing nothing but lying down on bed or watching TV clutching my mobile on hand waiting and pressing the keypads rapidly. I'm finding it now a bit boring under certain reasons yet I'll be back on it before the promo will end.

At 6, we'll be invading Vienna's residence for it's her birthday today! Happy Birthday dear classmate! I just hope many classmates will go into their house.. But I'm sure many will - because when it comes to food, every classmate of mine never hesitates to have it!

PARTY CRASHERS: [EDIT later]

P.S. Have you seen the 'SURF' commercial on Mother's Day? Such a nice one. And oh, belated Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!

May 5 ~ Thursday

Aiza called me and said that it's her Dad's birthday celebration at 6pm and that she'll be inviting some of her friends. I, of course, didn't hesitate to go. She also asked me to invite more through text. So, I passed the info 'til we got to a number of 10. By call time, we met up at HECOM (hardware owned by Aiza's family) and I realized that we were outnumbered of the expected. Shucks. Well, for Aiza, she was somehow 'scolded' by her mother because of it. Sorry. So we just stayed in the 2nd floor of their house and chatted and laughed while watching our Graduation Video waiting for the prior visitors to finish eating themselves. It was really fun I laughed a lot especially when Alcin said that we'll be playing truth or consequence using Winston's false teeth and that whosoever will be pointed at will wear the teeth!! LoL. Very yucky to think yet very funny. Hahah!

My text life started as soon as I charged up my cellphone upon arriving home. Again, we were out daring each other who stays up the last. T'was a close fight between me, Tetet, Mandy, Abu, Yana and Ken. But unfortunately we did the final challenge by having our cut-off time at 6AM! In the end, only me and Tetet became the ultimate survivors. Well, Kenneth also stayed up 'til 6 yet he doesn't deserve it since he started the challenge at 3AM not like us who did it from exact NIGHT to MORN!

PARTY CRASHERS: Candy, Kharen, Lenny, Jean, Naiza, Raquel, Mark, Ken, Winston, Alcin, Mandy, Vladimir, Vienna, Doreen and Ailen

May 4 ~ Wednesday

This morning I washed my rubber shoes and I think I brushed it with much force since the word 'Converse' was a bit ruined. LoL. I met up with Aiza, Ken, Abu, Zaemme and Mandy for I'll be treating them out for my birthday. A bit late, isn't it? But, better late than never, right? I bought seven regular yums at the Jollibee on Wheels and we ate it at Rose Bakeshop together with a half-gallon ice cream. After we finished our burgers they asked again for chesseburgers and a liter of coke so I gave it to them instantaneously since there are only five of us (since Aiza didn't come).

We chatted a lot and laughed at the current issues happening with our classmates, about the stuffs going on in our own 'texting chatroom' and I realized that I really am somehow missing them na.. Oh well, that's life. Gotta accept that. My unlimited text will expire at 6:20 this evevning. I'm not sure if I'll register again. :o

May 2 ~ Monday

Finally got home from Iloilo last night at 7:30. Good thing t'was my aunt's birthday so food was right in front of me after the long trip. Then I proceeded with my texting life again. Oh, I forgot to plug: Thank you very much SMART for bringing back the Unlimited Call and Text Service! Just type CALL/TXT and send to 258! Until May 21 only. LoL.

About my birthday last Saturday, well, it was the simplest one ever. I was at BORACAY together with my mom and sister and another classmate with her brother and mom as well. We just treated them for breakfast. As easy as that. But the beach was indeed very amazing. Very fine white sand and lots of people walking here and there..

Birthday gifts from Aencille, Chenren, Daisy, Kisara and Lu-Lu. Thanks a lot. And to everyone who greeted me, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

April 28 ~ Thursday

Arrived at Iloilo last Monday together with my mom, sister and a former classmate with her mom and brother.. Man, the travel was really exhausting. We unexpectedly cut trips. From Cagayan - Cebu - San Carlos - Bacolod - Iloilo. Fatefully my credentials were all done just yesterday. The aweful thing about the system of the University of the Philippines here is that they only accept the requirements in the Miag-ao campus which is one-hour travel from Iloilo City. Imagine, we have to travel that everyday by just passing some piece of papers. Grrr.. I stayed for one night at the dormitory without any roommate.

Yet now, everything's going fine. I'm now at SM and hopefully we'll be able to go to Boracay by tomorrow! Haha.. And maybe I wont be able to blog the day of my birth, so I'll now post the gifts I received from Aencille and Lu-Lu. Thank you very much you two as well as to everyone who greeted me! Nelson will become 17 in 2 days!...

P.S. Sorry, got no time to resize the image for better viewing. [Images not available]

April 23 ~ Saturday

Currently in Cagayan de Oro City for the GSIS Scholarship Exam. Not very tough though. My classmates even said that our entrance to the Special Science Class way back in first year was more difficult. Couldn't remember it much anyway.. Here are some details of the past days:

Sunday: I was drowsy at the Holy Mass that I almost slept for real!
Monday: Got bumped with Farrah, Armando and Naiza in the warnet and Ronna in the market. And again they asked for a treat. GRR..
Wednesday: Found out that there's Jollibee on Wheels in our town!
Thursday: Got my medical check up for UP Ilo-Ilo. And met up with Annor and Yam.

Angel and Yana are my sidekicks here at the Domain Café in Limketkai. By Monday dawn I'll be off to Ilo-Ilo City.

April 17 ~ Sunday

"In the end I wanna be standing
at the beginning with you..."

We had our overnight graduation party yesterday (of course it was finished this morning). We started it out with our lunch then videoke. I got a bit bored so I took a nap for like 10 minutes. When I woke up, Kamille splashed me with a glass of water! I then knew that they were doing it all on each other. It was really fun. We even played cards and splashed the loser with some water. LoL. I lost once.

Finally as the afternoon approached, those who won't be able to stay overnight had to go home. We prayed before letting them go.. After the prayer, many started crying. I can't help to cry myself just by watching them. Jesha put my attention to the sunset and I said, "It'll be our Final Sunset together..". More tears crawled over our faces as I said that. I also cried for Lizlee very much.

We all slept in our comfortable places - other on rooms, tents and some even on open air with sleeping bags at around 4am after an exhausting videoke and games. By morning, we proceeded to nearest swimming pool. Yet most of us could no longer come. We chatted all afternoon bringing us all down to only five. Naiza, Kenneth, Farrah, Jovy and Me.

I'm sure gonna miss you guys!

April 15 ~ Friday

I was so confident the graduation wouldn't start minutes after 7:30 as told because of 'Filipino Time'. But I was dead wrong! I went to the gymnasium in my 'Gala' outfit and everything under control but then I realized I left something important so I had to go back home. When I came back, the Prossessional [?] March had already started. ^_^; So I just inserted myself after my last female classmate. Good thing the Banner Roll have their own and reserved seats on the front row so I didn't worry much. Nyahaha! It really makes me smile to think about it.

The graduation was just fine. It was finished around 12:30. More picture takings happened on the stage together with my classmates. And oh, I got five medals. And guess how many pieces our valedictorian got? A stunning 25! At home I was in a bad mood for some reason. I really feel sorry for Mom. I just stayed in my room without entertaining the guests..

We will have our overnight party tomorrow at Mia's house. Hope it'll be a memorable one..

April 12 ~ Tuesday

Woke up.. Watched my clock and.. It's 1pm! Shucks. When I looked at my cellphone, it read: 30 messages received. Wow! Luckily, we had no graduation practice for today. All we had to do was comply our clearance. I thought I was just the only one who didn't get clear since I woke up very late from surfing the net 'til 4am last night. But unexpectedly, it was no sweat at all. Just had to buy a dust pan as my penalty for all my absences in the past practices and whalah!

My classmates have been bugging me because they want me to treat them out with the money I got (please read previous entry). But I told them that I wouldn't since I was supposed to do it only yesterday. In the end I had no choice but to do it. O_o' The only thing that made me annoyed is that they were exceedingly demanding. Like saying, "Is this worth P10,000?". Are they serious? I need to spend the money in more useful things you know.. Gosh, I spent almost a thousand pesos for only twelve persons (including me). Aarrgghh! Curse them!!

I just hope I'll be able to treat my other classmates in a less expensive way..

April 8 ~ Friday

Today I went to the provincial office to claim my cash incentive (Did I spell it right?) worth P10,000 for winning the 2nd place of the Student Technologists and Entrepreneurs of the Philippines Webpage Design Contest last November 2004! (Do I really need to say this over and over again?! Sorry but I'm just and will always be proud about it.) Gosh! Whatta Ca$h! I'll be buying new stuffs for college with this money! Yet I forgot to bring an ID so I'll be able to claim the money by Monday. ^_^'

April 5 ~ Tuesday

First of all I apologize for the way HaloScan displays the links [0405050undefined] below every post. I don't know what's up with them..

Today was the town fiesta of a nearby town as well as the Governor's Cup competition. Two of our classmates were muses. And one became the Miss Governor's Cup '05. It's no wonder. She's real pretty. Hope I can post her pic here. We had lunch at a friend's house. Before we left, Naiza and John Paul somehow went to their own worlds and just stayed in the house. So we all 'hanged out' and had so much fun in another classmate's house without them.

We hitched in a mini-pickup vehicle going home since there are so many people grabbing single traveling vehicles around. As we were just some meters away, Joey a.k.a. 'MOTHER' called me and Juno back to join them for the birthday celebration of the father of a classmate in the next town since Naiza has already decided to come with us. But then again, as we joined them, Joey said that Naiza could no longer come with us. Curses. The fair going home should've been kept in our pockets if we didn't alight from the vehicle we hitched. Damn you Joey! You gave us the wrong info! Grr.. (hehe..)

April 3 ~ Sunday

We had our recollection last Friday. It ended indeed nice. We had our individual prayer that had most of us crying. Yet we still have to accept the fact that we have to part our own ways to college soon.. Nyah nyah.. So anyway, we had our pictorials after the one-day activity and I can say that we really had fun out of it. And of course our text messaging till dawn is still luckily up. I usually stay up as the last one to sleep at 3am. It never wories me though. I see it as a preparation for burning of midnight candles in college.

There's nothing more I can say. Just that, we need to fill all the days with laughs and closeness we lacked for the past four years as the 15th of April slowly approaches..

"May this closeness of ours at the moment is just the beginning of a much more closer bonding." -Kenneth Diza

March 26 ~ Saturday

Ahoy people! Changed my layout again! I'm too lazy to make one so I just got myself one from Moon-Wave. So anyway the image is the 'monkey' from Gensomaden Saiyuki. Why did I choose this? First, because he eats a lot and I also do the same. Second, My birthday is fast approaching! Let's celebrate people!

The past days have been indeed fun. Though it's just days till I'll part ways with my classmates, hopefully we will still keep in touch in the future. It's just so sad. The happy thing lately is the SMART UNLIMITED TEXT.We've been chatting all day and night through text talking about certain topics and even backbiting each other! LOL. We even dare who will stay up last every night till dawn. Just this morning we ended up at 3am. I'm a survivor! But it's part of the fun. I just hope this network feature would last for some time. PLUG:09208703415

We will be invading Jesha tomorrow for her birthday celeb. Yes! Food! Mine will be on the end of April ^-^'. I don't know what else to blab about... x_x; so I'll end my ramblings here... And oh, happy Lenten season!

March 15 ~ Tuesday

I had my second session in teaching HTML in our Computer subject. Curses. Know what?? Well, I discussed all about CSS but it appears that I was just TALKING to MYSELF since most of my classmates were busy doing their own stuffs. I can't blame them though. It's really cramming at the moment. Finals will be tomorrow and the next day and then our Mini-Intramurals on Friday. I was really in a bad mood at that time. GrrR..

By noon, some classmates also stayed in the IT Building to finish their webpages. I was there to instruct them on what they don't know and forget and blah.. blah.. blah.. Our teacher, which was my coach when I won 2nd place in a National Webpage Design contest (Hanep! Libre advertisement ah!hehe..), told me that I would be really a good professor if I would have the oppurtunity. Why?? Because I am simply strict and I don't have patience for my STUDENTS!!

The day was really busy. We were out of the classroom most of the times having our Extra Curricular activities signed. In the afternoon, we had a practice for our cheerdance. Shucks! I'll be carrying a classmate in my NECK!

March 10 ~ Thursday

Absolutely no classes this morning. The classroom was wild as you'd expect it to be when no teacher is around. Krysta was doing a favor for Joey by recording on cam everybody's comments on him. It'll serve as a remembrance of us since we'll be parting ways to college soon. The dancers were practicing their dance number 'Lose My Breath' for our upcoming variety show. Err.. Before I forget, there was this thing that the girls use to curl up their lashes? I tried it myself and they got me on cam and then yelled, "He's gay! He's gay!". LoL. They're stupid.

In the afternoon, I struggled with Krysta just to get this pic. Reports in MAPEH were really boring. Unexpected tests followed but I don't have anything to answer so I decided to copy answers from the others (you can't blame me, cheating is the essence of being a high school). Then there's this PEOPLE who acted as if they really liked the subject when in fact, it was just TODAY that they paid much attention to it and yelled, "Wag niyong pakopyahin yung hindi nakinig sa report!". It was like, WHAT the HELL?! SHE was just so arrogant!

March 1 ~ Tuesday

Today was my first day of teaching HTML (Webpage) to my classmates. I didn't think it would be that tricky. Many were asking questions and I can barely think of codes to discuss. After the session, some told me that I was doing it pretty fast and some even said that they were sleepy while I was demonstrating! Drat. I didn't plan it to be like that. I just hope I'll do better next time.

Before finally going home around 6, outside the gate, Ronna STOLE a KISS on my cheek! What the heck!? How dare her do that?!

February 21 ~ Monday

It's finally home sweet home after an unforgettable week in Manila. I'll try my best to remember some of the details:

Day1 [Feb14]: The land travel to Davao City was just fine. We used to underpass to get to the airport and it was quite an experience for we had to run down and up in an incline plane with our heavy bags. Before we boarded, we managed to have a shot together with Aiza Seguera.

Day2 [Feb15]: The posting of our displays in our respective booths in 'Ang Bahay ng Alumni' in UP Diliman.

Day3 [Feb16]: The parade and opening program. I was the cameraman for today. We had a nice shot before the start of the parade where Sir Gregor posed like a dog. It's really fun watching it.

Day4 [Feb17]: The big event of Research Defense. I wasn't able to watch our leader, Krysta, do her stuff for I was in Joey's contest taking his video footage.

Awards were given at 5pm and Joey won 3rd place together with special awards and will be going to Phoenix, Arizona, USA this May. Alex and Carolynne and Marlou both won 2nd place. Our team got the In Vitro Biology Award. After the program, we acted as if we garnered lots of awards for we stayed by the stage together with the mascot and the Intel president and the official cameraman taking our pictures. Then we shook hands with almost every delegate we could find. I was surprised myself that I got the nerve to do that kind of thing now! Before finally going back to the hostel, we had a pic by the stairs applying what Sir Gregor taught us. The smile-on-the-count-of-three technique. Back at the hostel, I had a little chat with the loner-like roommate of mine named Brian from UP Los Baños and then had a pic together with my schoolmates and him and Remrick (a roommate of Joey). Then Sir Gori shared his story when he stayed at Malacañang Palace for the meeting of all the Cum Laudes and etc. He is really fun when he talks.

Day5 [Feb18]: Woke up with a very dead hostel with almost empty rooms (I just hate this kind of scene). Remrick, who was on the other room, went off very early. And so did Mr. Gregor's troupe. Soon Jake, another roommate of mine, followed. But one thing that made that moUrning good was the presence of Brian's mother. We chatted while Brian was on the bathroom and she really is nice.

We went to SM North Edsa where I bought my Converse shoes and watched the movie 'Phantom of the Opera' and met the group category winners from the Philippine Science High School. What a small world after all!

Day6 [Feb19]: We went to Greenhills and Naiza and Krysta bought new shoes as well. I've eaten at Ice Monster once more. The Mango flavor was not so good compared to Pineapple-Lychee and Blueberry. SM MegaMall was the next stop where I bought the pasalubongs I badly needed. Yet the one for mom got lost on our way home to Parañaque. Drat. And yeah, UPCAT results were posted today. I passed UP Ilo-Ilo. *grins*

Day7 [Feb20]: Our flight the following morning was 1:30pm but the plane took flight 30 minutes earlier. I wish I had answered the title of the song sung by the stewardess in the plane. 5pm was scheduled for the boat so we still had plenty of time to waste in Cebu. SM City Cebu was the stop-over and there I finally managed to buy something for everyone in the house. We went back to the Traveler's Lounge a bit late so Ma'am Nonie once and forever again had her eyebrows crossed. We stayed in the ship's videoke bar to charge our cellphones. I was the last one to leave it by 11:30pm.

Day8 [Feb21]: The ship arrived very early in the Nasipit port and we met the former mayor and the other SPs alighting from the ship. On our way home Krysta asked for her cellphone because I borrowed it last night. But I thought she already got it because I didn't see it when I came back where I left it at the ship. Soon I started thinking on how to pay her. But I really suspected either Naiza and Alex for they were exactly in front of the chair where I left the mobile. When Krysta was about to go off, Alex finally revealed that he hid it. Yes thank God! But 90% of me already believed at the first place that it was just really hidden by one of them.

February 16 ~ Wednesday

Currenty in UP Diliman staying for the Intel Philippine Science Fair. Today was the pre-judging and it seemed not so good with our team. An image in our display is questionable with the results. You see, I was the one who edited the images and I think they all believe that I did it without reference from the statistical results - but I honestly did! Oh well I think that's all for now. I just hope that I'll still have fun and hope that we'll win and represent our country for the International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Arizona this coming May.

UP Diliman Mall 17:16 |

February 13 ~ Sunday

Curse this PC. Yes it has internet connection but it's too slow (BL@st). It would be better to sleep. And most of the time it hangs up like, what the hell? Nevertheless, I still love the fact that its OS is Windows XP. Argh! It's just so annoying!

I'm bound for Manila tomorrow at 4am. It's another Science Investigatory Project contest National Level sponsored by Intel. It'll be held in UP Diliman. By the way, Happy Valentine everyone!

23:32 |

February 05 ~ Saturday

We had lunch at Tokyo Tokyo in Shangri-La Mall and watched the movie 'Meet the Fockers' at SM Megamall. Next stop was SM North EDSA where you can see the word 'SALE' in almost every corner of the mall. Yet I didn't buy anything for myself in order to save money. Around 10pm, we went back to our quarters and off we traveled for the airport at 11. Our 5-am flight was unexpectedly changed to 1am. We were already very tired. Travel time on the plane was an hour and it was freezingly cold inside because I wasn't able to bring a jacket. I had no other choice but to slip my fingers inside my shirt. Who cares anyway? The girl beside me? Shucks!

Arrived at Cebu 2:45am and had nothing else to do but wait for our 'sundo' to come. We slept at the front desk never thinking on what would others think. As light struck and we noticed a formally-dressed person arrive, we all rose and crossed the street and settled ourselves in the waiting chairs sleeping again. Finally our 'sundo' came and we had breakfast in their house. Then off we went to SM Cebu City to window shop but I only had lunch at the Food Court, surfed the net and went back to the Food Court once more for a nap. By 5pm we went to the pier for our last trip heading to Mindanao. Only our teachers had a tourist accomodation for the safetiness of our baggages. But they said we could all sleep over since there are many vacant beds after all. I got four extra blankets secretly for our own use but unfortunately, as I was placing it on the bed, a somewhat officer-in-charge caught me (O_o). So we didn't have any chances but to settle down in the Economy section. Only three of us was able to have nice beds. The wind was blowing very hard in the upper deck that we had to transfer in our original beds in the lower deck at around 1am.

Finally we arrived at the port around 6am and traveled by land and stopped at Juno's grandparents for breakfast. The dust was very welcoming towards us and lastly we arrived in our hometown 15 minutes before 11.

I somehow consider myself as an artista because of those series of fortunate events. I had no exact and good sleep yet I have tried to have fun and enjoy all the trip! LoL.

24:00 February 7 |

February 04 ~ Friday

We intentionally woke up late even if it's the awarding ceremony today. We really had a lot of fun playing volleyball at CIS debating and yelling at each other "Dead Ball!". The ball has to be hit at least thrice before smashing it back to the other team. In the end, the team where I was won and the losers crawled between our legs. At the fair we met a lovely girl on a booth named 'Jonet' and we asked her to join us for a shot. Gosh, she looked a lot like Lani...

So as 6pm struck we all flew to Araneta Coliseum to watch Game 3 of PBA. It was actually not such an exciting game after all. TalkNtext kicked the butts of the Ginebra team with the score of 102-66. Many said that the game was just sold out purposely. It took us a lot of minutes before we finally got a ride home. Efrellene shared all her experiences in Ohio, USA and Japan and talked about UP before we finally slept 15 minutes before 3am.

14:33 SM City Cebu |

February 03 ~ Thursday

Today was the defense of our respective projects and we all have to wear semi-formal dresses even if only one in a group will defend. The polo I wore was bought by Krysta at Greenhills yesterday for I was sick alone in the quarters. It was quite similar with Juno's. We also realized that the PBA ticket we bought intended for the game tomorrow was dated yesterday. Drat. We just like somewhat threw Php65.00 away (T_T). There was also this 3D game in the sample exhibits in the fair where you'll see four dinosaurs in an abstract image. It took me a bit of time before I saw it myself. T'was amazing.

We found out by the afternoon that OUR teams weren't chosen as one of those who'll defend for the final judging. I think only Joey on his individual category managed to do it. We ate supper at the Marikina City Hall and watched the magnificent 5-minute fireworks display. It was so cool Dude!

22:01 |

February 02 ~ Wednesday

I'm now in Marikina City staying in Concepcion Integrated School for the Science Investigatory Project. My cough got worse when I woke up this morning and got a fever. Thankfully, my temperature have decreased by noon. I was left at the quarters while the others are away. Good thing a café is only walking distance from the school.

At night, we shoot our somewhat 'Nginiig' video by the school premises and I can really say that it was fun. Alex and Krysta played as the hosts, me as the director and the rest as the actors. It was as if there were ghosts caught by the video camera. The 'show' ended with the hosts in the flagpole in a very stupid look saying 'Star Circle National Teen Quest' and pointing their hands towards the sky. The PMT on duty even looked like Japanese people of the past and we also caught them on cam. The grand finalé was all of us walking towards the camera and Krysta appears in our hands as we finally met the lens. It really makes us all laugh everytime we watch the clip.

More Details of Yesterday:
x --- Hitched in a van going to Butuan City (Thanks to Jun-Jun's Mom)
x --- Too much pressure in my ears in the airplane
x --- Joyride in finding the school accomodating us
x --- I've been a loner because of the teachers
x --- Very serene night biking around the campus

February 01 ~ Tuesday

New layout for the month of February. I know its the month of Love but I'm just not inspired enough to make a Valentine layout. Also, my Adobe Photoshop driver isn't recognized by my CD-ROM that's why I did this layout only in Paint. I'm proud I was able to do it in a very simple image-editing program. I didn't know it would somehow also work like other high-standard image-editors. *coughs* It seems that my cough's getting a little worse. Curses.

January 17 ~ Monday

The classroom needs to have a candidate for the Mr. Campus Personality and they were all trying to push me. Are they nuts?! I don't really want it. It's a money contest. I see that it's just a waste of money (sorry to say that). My mother thinks the same when I called and informed her. I was kinda scolded by our Trigonometry teacher because the report of my members wasn't delivered good. They still have to argue on who will discuss which.

Extra:
x- Passed the MSU (Mindanao State University) Entrance Exam [BS - Information Technology]
x- Ronna's Late Birthday Treat
x- New Background Music - Thanks to Chenren

January 10 ~ Monday

I was one of the scouts who raised the National Flag in the Flag Ceremony so I finally had the chance to wear my Rover Scout uniform. In our Trigonometry, I was self-convinced that I did my report on Parabola right. By the afternoon I had another debate with Joey about the leadership of our class monitor. He compares the somewhat inferiority of our class monitor into the superiority of the 2nd year class monitor. I opposed his idea so we had another yelling conversation like the one we had in the Information Building a week ago about him feeling very arrogant that he can make good pictures out from Microsoft PowerPoint. Another gig that me and my peers has started is by running as fast as we could out of the school during dismissal just to miss the National Flag Retrieval.

Lastly, the hard disk I ordered finally came which means that I'll start wrecking my PC again by tomorrow. Detail: PC Monitor 10.18.04

January 6 ~ Thursday

I've been having a very hard time on our lessons in Physics lately. Yesterday, in the canteen while we were having our snack, a scene that is good enough to be in a Final Destination movie happened. The wind was blowing pretty strong that it made the leaning board on the wall fell unto the floor. I was facing the board and knew it would soon collapse. Mia on the other hand had her back on it. Luckily, Ronna was quick enough to move and grab Mia away from her chair just as the board hit her spot after a few seconds.

Entrance Examination Schedule:
x- 01.09 Department of Science and Technology (DOST)
x- 01.13 CSAT
x- 01.15 San Pedro College (Davao City)
x- 01.15 Ateneo de Davao University

TV Show: Extra Challenge "Bidang Kontrabida" [Grrr.. The girl who quarrels with Ethel is just sooo annoying.. *curses*]

Last Tuesday was Dallaryen's birthday. We went pool-hopping and in the end I got tired and went home. Last night we watched a dance contest in the gymnasium. And hey! It's Christmas Eve tonight! Yehey! Merry Christmas everyone! Oh well, I just hope this'll be my last post for this year. I'm becoming poor for surfing the net almost everyday. The Misa de Gallo, neh.. I only had one. Also, I have to get some serious rest this afternoon for the Holy Mass tonight. I just hope our Noche Buena is not boring.

Quite such a short entry, don't you think? I feel better.. zZZz

December 17 ~ Friday

Song: Jingle Bell Rock
Eating: Chocolate Cake, Chopsuey

I came very late in our classroom at around 11 this morning just to see everyone's mourned face. Joey, our most versatile-no-time-for-simple-classes classmate was discussing about our irresponsibleness for four years including some problems concerning our adviser. The classroom really looked very awful - with the very dirty floor and newspapers where my classmates sat. After quite some time, our adviser came and Joey and the other Press Conference delegates went off to their trip for the RSPC. Our adviser confronted all her feelings and emotions towards us and the way how each of us acted as 'alas'. There was a very sentimental moment where some classmates and even our adviser shed some tears. Yet it didn't stop the party - for NOTHING CAN STOP the fun that the finest batch our school has ever handled will have.

After eating, we exchanged gifts and I found out that I have none. I dunno if the pin I received was actually from my Manita. There was no name in the *From:* label. And d'you suppose someone would give someone such a little thing like that? Especially if that someone was the one whom you're supposed to give a gift? Of course NOT! I was disheartened honestly. But at least I received a gift from Naiza. We played lots of cool and enjoyable games such as bean relay using straw and Barquillos eating. We even went outside our classroom to play 'Sipa Tsinelas' and Shaggidy Shaggidy! It was such such fun! I didn't expect it to be that amusing.

To sum it up, the party started BAD and ended... VERY GOOD.

December 15 ~ Wednesday

It's Home Sweet Home once again. You know what? We won first place! Shuckes! I'm flying to Luzon once more! Fetching, isn't it? Only one entry from our division wasn't able to make it (top threes). Yesterday was a great day. Let me tell ya some of the details:

We were all dressed semi-formally in the moning for it will be the BIG day where the final defense will take place. Krysta really bugged me and Nai to also wear semi-formal so that it would be fair to her part even though she'll be the only one who'll defend our project. We took a rest in our quarters in the afternoon and went to the mall around 4pm. I was the only one who went for a shopping because the others watched the movie "Bcuz of U". Sadly they didn't finish the movie for we were called for the awarding ceremony with the presence of our school principal. Time seemed as a flash as we all rushed to dress up upon alighting from the motorcycle. Even the others started untying their shoes in the five-minute trip! Our division specifically our school garnered about 90% of the awards. As a celebration, we ate in an exquisite Barbeque House *Aling Cora's* and went to Big Joe - a disco house fairing P150 per head - to celebrate more. It was my (actually our) first time to enter a club with a live band and disco. God! It was just such an unforgettable night! At around 1:30 we finally went home.

At the school, we decided to go ghost-hunting. That was the time when I realized that Harvey is such a scaredy-cat. We even scared our own classmates while they were having a shower *giggles*. But I think they weren't petrified much that the shower in the first cubicle was turned on *giggles more*. To Nai, Abu and Katring, sorry. *LoLz*

Krysta, Cherubin, Kharen and Alex didn't sleep in their respective quarters for they had so much fun chatting with some new friends from the host school. They all received good awards from our teachers in the morning.

Dude, our pic yesterday is the best in years! We were like WOW! - I mean like, certifiably-true-known-and-famous-superstars-everyone-is-drooling-to-see-and-idolize!

December 13 ~ Monday

Song: Move Ya Body by Nina Sky
It's my second day here in Butuan - a city 72 km away from our town. We're here to compete for the regional science fair *huh. I'm like a pirated cd - saying things over and over again*. All my roommates were already awake at 4 am. The quizbowl and the preliminary judging for the investigatory projects were held in the morning. We played Shaggidy Shagiddy and the one who made mistakes were given consequences. Haha! T'was just so fun!

Fun Dares:
x Get someone's number
x Introduce yourself to someone
x Convince someone to join the game for one round
x Act as a blind and play the guitar wearing sunglasses in front of many people

In the afternoon the physics olympics was held. I was on the weight lifting together with Paul, Juno, Bam-Bam, Harvey and with our FC Jun-Jun. Huh! No sweat! We did it in eleven secs! D'you think the others did beat that time? We then went to Chowking to eat. Tabitch, Yana and Weng then came moments later. When Yana finally did her last spoon, we left for our intended pictorial and Weng almost left Ma'am Nonie's sunglasses. After doing our pose in the studio *drat! forgot the name*, four of us went to an internet café and returned to the host school for the socials night and dinner after an hour. When we were about to go to the gym, the electricity went out. But still, it didn't stop the food festivity. The socials program was SUPERB. The dance intermissions were brilliantly presented by the Performing Arts Club. A PSYSC little camp was done by the officers. Honestly, I enjoyed that one more than in the true camp in Puerto Galera last April.

December 11 ~ Saturday

Chatting: Nekoteko
Typhoons have stopped invading, but rain still remains..

Yo! I'm back with a vengeance! Haha! I really can't keep promises. Well at least I got away from the net for three to four days. So before starting my entry for today, let me share with you a poem which I got from an HTML book of my friend. Eh-ehem:

Roses are red, Violets are blue.
HTML's cool, and Java is too.

So, what can you say about my poem ey? Ehhee.. Okay so much for that. Last Tuesday I ate in a bakeshop again together with the Parliamentarians and Earl. We ordered Lumi and Halo-Halo as usual. Yesterday we finally finished the display board of our Science Investigatory Project for the Regional Science Fair. I was glad that almost all my classmates wished us luck for the contest.

This morning I watched Winx Club, Inu-Yasha and Shaman King as always. I gave my two white dogs a bath today because it has been already quite a long time since I last gave them one. As I'm writing this entry, I am in a fun chat with Nekoteko. After this I'll be going home to pack things up for my trip to Butuan City tomorrow. Ciao!

December 5 ~ Sunday

Song: I Will Love Again by Lara Fabian

I just stole some of my time for my assignment just to write this entry. Well honestly I like it better writing this one rather than doing my assignment. I'm really having a hard time on this Informal Theme entitled "Krisis sa Pilipinas". When it comes to writing, I admit that I really suck. Lessons have started distracting me lately. I don't know what to do first and next and next. It's because I've been away from school for three non-consecutive weeks.

I find myself lately always thinking about the Internet and websites to visit but all that come are blogs and layout and graphical sites. Drat, and double DRAT! Know what? I've started becoming jealous on webdesigners younger than I am who are very good in image editing and layout making.

It was really a good thing I learned how to use HaloScan. However, only a few leave their comments. Ttt.. Ttt..

My PC is officially dead - and it's a really good thing for I can't help myself from making new layouts for my blog everytime it works fine. And I won't let the Internet world rule my life either. That's why I'll try my best to stay away from the World Wide Web for at least a month or two and just focus on my studies.

November 20 ~ Tuesday

Song: Krystala Theme

Hey! School's back again. Surprisingly, I didn't have troubles with the lessons. In fact, we didn't have classes in most of our subjects the whole day. Very grool, don't you think? I guess it's because of the Division Athletic Meet this coming Friday. Teachers have been very busy for majority of them are coaches.

In the morning, we did our regular Flag Ceremony and the National STEP winners were awarded on stage. When I was about to leave the stage, Mrs. Arquion called me and said, "Aclan, bring your trophy with you back home. Besides, you won individually." Jish, I was kinda cooled. It's what I've also been thinking of about lately. Those words really urged me to do what I wanted.

By noon, my classmates started becoming busy with our classroom Christmas decorations. People from Naga were told just today to be on charge of the decors outside the classroom so we did nothing but just plan for our assignment, watch and help the others. The ceiling is obviously the most important part of a room that should be decorated during Christmas. My height became so useful for I did most of the work on the ceiling and decorations that should be placed in towering places on walls. I was tremendously happy as I did all of it. I don't exactly know why. Maybe because of the sight of my classmates and the essence of Christmas fast approaching seen in the classroom. Dunno.. Just couldn't explain further what it felt like. T'was just coeat.

I was together with the Parliamentary Group by afternoon for they had a food celebration in Rose Bakeshop and Fastfood using the money they got from caroling. At first, we argued on what to eat because the money is not enough to supply twelve stomachs. We were even reprimanded to keep quite. But still fun and laughs weren't absent - especially with the presence of Earl...again. I was distracted for a moment for my teachers in Elementary (Mrs. Lumanas and Mrs. Gomera) whom Earl talked to said that I was lousy in my primary years that I don't write compositions and pass projects. Mmm.. I don't think I did those. Anyway, I got some compliments today. Nyeh, it was kinda annoying bringing a trophy. *sticks tongue out on left side*

November 29 ~ Monday

Gee, it's holiday today here in the Philippines. Actually, it's supposedly tomorrow - but our president has been starting changing holiday dates cause she believes that it's better if days with no work are consecutive. She has a point you know. But still, it's not right in the eyes of some people (I'm one of them). Okay so much for that stuff. Last night we watched the Mayor's Cup basketball game in the gymnasium. There had been some fights and 'boos' and one team almost walked out of the game. When it ended, we took some moments to see the players and take some pictures. You see, some players actually played in the Philippine Basketball Association in the past years. Then we went to the Rotunda to have some sight-seeing for it had already been decorated for the Christmas season. It was only a matter of some minutes meeting some people we know when we got bored and went to a Barbeque house to eat. I was the one who paid the food using the cash prize I won in Naga (Curse this classmates! They take advantage!). Naiza's mom told us to bring her home so I and John Paul did so. It was almost 2 in the morning when I arrived home. And yeah, while I was away, a friend of my sister fixed our PC. Sadly, he says that our hard disk is already unusable. Good thing we have an extra one with a capacity of 4GB (May pag wa!). Yet not all of my important files were saved - including the layouts that'll be used in my future blogs! *cries out loud*. And today, I'm trying to do it myself because it's still having errors. Nyah nyah! It won't let me! Know what? I think our PC's cursed or something. It's just its first year last October and we have already spent lots of cash for the repairs for one whole year. If a problem is fixed, a new one comes out. Gish, what am I gonna do about this? Hope I have money to buy a new one. Lastly, let me tell you a secret: Actually, most of the errors are done because of my somewhat attitude to explore and do anything that can be done in our PC even if it's in the most bottompart directory of the hard disk (0_0).

November 27 ~ Saturday

Quite a long time since my last entry, isn't it? Ehem, looks like TagBoard.com is now back on business. Good thing *smiles*! So anyway, just got home from Naga City this afternoon from the National STEP Skills Development and Competition. Know what? I won the second place! *overwhelmed na overwhelmed* It would've been more nice if I got it first. But still it's okay and I'm doing really great. Gee, I really thought that I'll miss Naga so much but I was wrong. Surely I had lots of fun there especially with the peeps of Butuan City (a rival division of ours). Eunice even says that the Bartender from Butuan looks similarly like me. That's why I called him my clone. It was just so fun there - particularly with the presence of Earl. I have learned many lessons in life in my one-week stay in Naga. Really I can dearly deduce that it's gonna be one of the best moments of my life. I was also very very happy when I arrived at school when my adviser, three teachers and the assistant school principal greeted and congratulated me. Mrs. Magdaluyo even said that I'm Bill Gates! [genuinely smiles]. At home they printed out words "Welcome and Congratulations LOLO!". God is really really great you know. I didn't make many friends from my fellow delegates for I know myself that I am not friendly. Hope I'll change this attitude someday... Hopefully.

November 19 ~ Friday

Haha! *wide grin* I've finally found a new host. Thank you very much to Lady Li for informing me about AtSpace.com weeks and weeks ago. I transfered here because Geocities adds are becoming too much of a pain in the head. Once you'll close it, the page will no longer continue to load. Argghh *thinks*! Tag-board.com is also becoming quite annoying these days for it no longer displays. What's wrong around here? *monologue* Hehe.. And so I've tried HaloScan myself. Fatefully, I've discovered how it works and yeah, it's pretty cool *thanks Nicole*. Classes today are not like those done regularly. Especially in the afternoon - where we really had no single class. That's why I had the chance to upload this layout in our IT building. Know what? I'll be leaving for Naga this dawn. Huhuhu.. I don't have much rest and I still need and want to go over the lessons. Hmmm.. Hope I'll win in the contest. Okay, I think that's all for this afternoon because school's getting dark and I still need to buy some toiletries (?). No, wait! I just have to say this. To cover up our expenses to Naga, we have to solicit some cash ourselves. Problem is, the person assigned to the solicitation papers is not doing it right! See, he says that each student should solicit at least Php500. Can you imagine that? That's not essential to the word 'solicit'. And he somewhat tortures people to give! Huh! I won't even dare give some for I know that much of it will not go to the students themselves but to other people instead [sounds a bit rthyme, isn't it]. Okay, Okay *sighs and closes eyes*, I've been too talkative in this entry. Shouldn't be actin' like that. Grrr.. See ya!

November 17 ~ Wednesday

Yes, yes, very well, indeed *nods like a dog in a car* - I've arrived home safe and sound at one o'clock this morning. A creepy story welcomed me that our piano played when no one was around in the house three days ago (Is somebody really around?). Wicked, isn't it? I'm absent for today because I'm too lazy to wake up early zZzz... Loads of things await me at school! Give me a break please (Have a Break, Have a KitKat)! But I still thank God for all the oppurtunities He has given me - from SIBOL to STEP. Oh my gosh *widens eyes and opens mouth*! Speaking of STEP, our trip to Naga's gonna be this Saturday. Dammit! Nananaa.. We're probably gonna be tracking (Did I spell it right?) to get there. Isn't it exhausting? Just imagine it *imagines* - from Mindanao you'll go to Luzon sitting for almost three days! Well, at least we can see places. But still it's so.. umm.. FETCH?!

November 15 ~ Monday

Okay, okay. The SIBOL winners were announced this morning and sadly, our team didn't win (huhuhu..). However, the other group from our school which is composed of our classmates Joey, Philip and Harvey got the second prize with a trophy and a cash of fifteen thousand pesos. Neh.. It's just so frustrating to see other people win. We were at Intramuros yesterday and it was really a big, big community. An exhibit is held there and Caraga Region (the region where I'm from) is the host. This blog is written here in Robinson's Mall and after this we'll be going to Star City. Tonight's my last night here in Manila. Joey's team is planning a simple celebration. Yes, yes.. They will celebrate their victory and on the other hand, we'll celebrate our defeat. I hope our new research project will win in the Regional Level soon this December. Be home tomorrow to face lots and lots of assignments. My pocket's almost empty here.. Adios!

November 11 ~ Thursday

As of the moment I am writing this entry I am in the Philippine Trade Training Center in Manila. I am here together with five classmates, an adviser and another student to defend our Science Investigatory Project entitled "The Efficacy of Herbal Antibacterial in the Preventing the Spread of Soft-Rot Pathogen on Selected Vegetables" in the National SIBOL Competition. This place is like WOW! It's so big and the aircondition freezes you to death if you don't have any coat or jacket or something. Good thing I'm in a formal attire. We have finished our part just this morning (and of course Krysta, our team leader, did most of the job). The second floor of the building offers a free internet surfing for the first two hours. So I suppose you already know how I'm having THIS BLOG?! Results of the contest will be announced on 15. A very nice fact is that, our part here is done, and we still need to stay in Manila for the results -- which means that there is a lot of time on going on malls! It's not a big problem to me even if we'll stay here a bit longer for our accomodation is in a hotel [Atrium Hotel to be exact]. Do hope our teams will win. The awarding won't be held at the Malacañang Palace this year because of the holiday of the Ramadan. Grrr.. I was longing for this one for I want to have a ribbon from the President's House. So, that all wraps it up. I'll be back at school again by next week to cope up with the lessons and take the second periodical exam. And following that week will be my National STEP Webpage Design Contest. Hope I can do my best. Pray for Mee!

November 7 ~ Sunday

Whee! Got home at 12 midnight yesterday from Gigaquit, Surigao del Norte. I went there for the regional STEP competition and yes yes thankfully I WON which only means that I'll fly to the Bicol Region this month! (Neh.. So busy, don't you think¿) I had quite of fun in the four-day event even though I had some tough times [none really]. The computer contests were held in Surigao City so we had to travel for one and a half hour from our true contest venue. The host town was sort of lonely and spooky. Houses were designed during Japanese times in the Philippines and NO motorcycles and extra stuffs exist (well, maybe there are few sometimes). I got a fever, cold and headache the night of my contest. Our division rocked the event for we were the overall champion. I'll also be putting my output in that contest on the net soon. Hmmm.. what more.. Oh yeah! We went swimming on the beach on the last day and enjoyed the waves. On our way home, the jeepney lacked crude oil so we had to stop place by place to find some. Luckily, we found a gasoline station who finally opened up with the presence of some police even though 'tulis' is happening once a week there. I've really missed the net but as I'm writing this entry I realized I was wrong. *Cold Night Winds*

October 29 ~ Friday

The Division STEP is finally over last Friday (Oct 22). Fatefully, I won. Thanks so much to God. Now, I'm gonna be facing a tougher one--the Regional Level. I didn't come to the awarding because I didn't expect to win so I just slept the whole afternoon. Nhora got the award for me and she even posed on stage! It was One Piece in GMA when I woke up so I stayed in front of the TV for one and a half hour watching the succeeding animés Rune Soldier and Slam Dunk. In the the SD episode, the Shohoku lost at Ryonan in their practice game with one point. Sendoh Rockz! I became kinda inspired and interested on basketball because of that episode. Never worry folks, I will someday do my Slam DUNK! ... Two days ago our school principal personally came to our classroom to talk to us regarding our Research Projects. T'was not a bad and boring chat after all. He also informed us that two groups from our school is confirmed to have been acknowledged for the SIBOL competition. Whoa! The group where I'm in is IN! I'm going back to Manila! I didn't feel so happy upon knowing that for I know myself that my contribution in the group is not very much [sniffs]. Yesterday we had a dialogue drama in our Filipino subject. It was some sort of a touching-stupid scene about a boyfriend becoming jealous on another guy whom he saw holding his girlfriend's hand. It begins with this line, "Ano, nagseselos ka kay Morito?". Haha! That activity was full of "sungog" and giggles. This week was really loaded with assignments and activities and I can truly say to meself that I'm busier than any other superstar in the world. But still by the end of the week, loads became lighter. The classroom was not alive this morning because most of my classmates were exhausted since they burned their midnight candles for the deadline of our Science Investigatory Project. But this time, I'm not one of them--for Krysta didn't tell me to escort her on the final retouches of our papers last night. I can see that she's really building up anger upon me. But what can I do? I don't excel in these matters! P.S. The STEP participants will be taking the second periodical exam after the Sem-break! Ain't it cool? A week of study! [..not really..]

October 19 ~ Tuesday

The STEP Webpage Design Contest is fast approaching. I'm gonna suck at that contest. I'm very certain that I won't be able to write anything about the topic that'll be given on the spot. I've changed the layout of this blog for peeps in Painted Wings are being very stupid **. I'm also sticking to only one counter this time.

October 13 ~ Wednesday

The jerseys that all the boys in our classroom [not really] designed and ordered was finally delivered after the completion of the payment [Php190 each]. All the girls got envy [nyah nyah] and they decided to have their own! This was quite a week. Yesterday and the other day I suffered from toothache and sinusitis. I really felt like dying [grrr..]! My brother is celebrating his birthday today! Happy Birthday!

October 7 ~ Thursday

A Recovery Program is held at our school exclusively for the fourth year students. Sadly, I wasn't able to come. It was because I woke up very late for we worked the whole night about our Science Investigatory Project. It was 5 in the morning when we finally finished inoculating the fungal species we needed. It's also the town fiesta of a nearby town. We went to two of our classmates' houses. (" ,)

September 30 ~ Thursday

Paul is celebrating his birthday today. He had a sentimental moment in our Physics subject when some of my classmates including our adviser gave him their wishes. My classmates are also trying to invent letters exclusively for our batch! I, together with Zaemmé, Harvey and Winston, stayed in our canteen for our afternoon snack for nearly 30 minutes chatting with Mr. Sausa and Mrs. Tabugon. :)

September 28 ~ Tuesday

Grrrr!! It's blackout at 5 pm. I wasn't able to watch the 6th episode of the Hunter X Hunter Greed Island OVA. So anyway, this day started as a good one and... also ended a good one. Nyahaha!

September 25 ~ Saturday

I'm the fourth student of our classroom?! No way! I couldn't believe it! I mean, many other classmates of mine do better. I absolutely don't deserve it :(.

September 23 ~ Thursday

My back's aching! Somebody help! Yesterday I got a very low score in Physics and I feel a bit dissapointed about it and for another certain reason. But today, haha! I was referred by our MAPEH teacher as "Outstanding Laugher" of our classroom. Isn't it nice and stupid?! Most of my classmates really say that my laugh is weird and enormous. But what can I say, It's Simply Me!

September 21 ~ Tuesday

Ha! I didn't attend the Rover formation in our school... again. Shuz! Couldn't believe me eyes! Hunter X Hunter Greed Island OVA is on Philippine TV for the very first time. I feel a bit disappointed about buying my own cd that cost a lotta $ =(. See guys? GMA is far more better than ABS-CBN!

September 19 ~ Sunday

Waaa! Today I am officially serving as a YFC (Youth for Christ) (sniff.. sniff..). Thanks guys for the influence, persuasion and support!

September 13 2004 ~ Monday

My classmate Kharen is celebrating her 16th birthday today. Yey! She celebrated in a bakeshop in our locality and almost all my classmates and me myself attended with nothing else to do - but EAT! Haha! I ate a lot and sweat was really dripping all over my face even though the room was airconditioned that I had to get a tissue to wipe myself. Most of my classmates were really amused and laughing. :P
